The Canadian Association of Ambulatory Care (CAAC) was founded in 2012 to highlight the ground breaking work being performed in ambulatory care settings in Canada and globally.
The CAAC is a voluntary non-profit organization developed for professionals working in various ambulatory care areas, who have a strong commitment and passion toward the delivery of quality health care on an out patient basis. Our members represent an interdisciplinary stakeholder such as RN, physiotherapist, OT, AA, CEO, Director, VP, MoHLtC representation and international delegates expressing interest and striving for excellence in Ambulatory Care.

ABOUT DENYSE HENRY
RN BHA (Hons) MHM
Denyse Henry is the Founder of the Canadian Association of Ambulatory Care. She has over 20 years experience in healthcare which includes Critical Care Nursing, Patient Advocacy and Adjunct Lecturer appointments. Ms. Henry holds a Bachelor Degree in Health Administration with honors from Ryerson University and a Masters in Health Management from McMaster University. She currently works at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre as a Patient Care Manager for Ambulatory Care Procedural Areas, PeriAnesthesia , Thromboembolism and Vascular Access. As a leader, she is constantly seeking creative ways to foster a dynamic learning environment to promote high quality patient care and continuous quality improvement. Ms. Henry’s ultimate goal is to become a national policy adviser, using her drive and untiring commitment to bring greater awareness and support for ambulatory care practices in Canada.
ABOUT SHERROL PALMER

Sherrol is the previous Manager of Ambulatory Clinics and Chemotherapy Unit at the Odette Cancer Centre at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre.
Sherrol is an active member in the Canadian Association of Ambulatory Care where she holds the position President and is also a member of the Conference Planning Committee. She has given numerous invited presentations, nationally and internationally on issues related to chemotherapy administration and patient care, quality improvement and leadership.

ABOUT JULIA YOUNG
Julia has worked as a Registered Nurse for more than 30 years. Her career in surgical oncology has spanned over 20 years which includes her former role as a Team Leader for a busy and fast paced Endoscopy Suite at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. Julia has furthered her education in several oncology courses, Coronary Care 1 and Advance Cardiac Life Support. Julia is a strong advocate for ambulatory care practices and has been a Board Member of the CAAC since it was formed in 2012.

ABOUT JING ZHOU
Jing has been working in different healthcare areas, such as community, acute care and rehabilitation as a Registered Nurse. She recently joined the CAAC board to help with administration and communication. Jing is a strong advocate for patients and nursing, and passionate about improving quality of life. She is currently advancing her education in Master of Science in Nursing.
Joy is one of the staff nurses working at the fast-paced endoscopy suite at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. She recently joined the CAAC executive board as secretary to help with the board's communication and organization. For six years, ambulatory care nursing has been Joy's passion and she has furthered her knowledge by being certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support. Becoming a part of the CAAC board in an exciting time for Joy as she advances her knowledge in terms of providing the best care possible to patients receiving ambulatory care.

ABOUT ELLIE LEE
Ellie Lee is the Business Manager of OR & Related Services at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. Her department OR Information Management Services (ORIMS), is comprised of system architects, developers, data analysts and front line patient administrators. As a group they are tasked with system development, process improvement and advancing the quality of care and services provided to patients and families within the Operating Room & Related Services. Her demonstrated ability to lead a variety of technical and non-technical staff through advanced technology and design makes her the ideal candidate for Vice President of Web Design and Publications. Ellie has contributed to a variety of fields at Sunnybrook within the last 30 years, and looks forward to contributing her expertise to CAAC.

ABOUT ROBERT WILLIAMS
Digital Health and Medical Advisor
Dr. Williams is the Chief Medical Officer for Ontario Telemedicine Network. In this capacity, he provides strategic leadership, advocacy and support for the organization's medical interests. A family physician, Dr. Williams began his practice in Timmins in 1976, where he served as Chief of Staff for 15 years. A co-founder of NORTH Network, Dr. Williams has served as a member and Chair of the Canadian Institute of Health Information Physician Advisory Committee and the Ontario Medical Association Committee on Hospitals, as a Commissioner of Ontario’s Health Services Restructuring Committee and as a member of the Registration Committee for the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.

Patsy brings over a decade's experience in system level roles across Ontario's healthcare system. From Senior Fiscal Analyst to program policy development at the Ministry Health and Long-Term Care (MOHL TC) her passion for helping people within organizations to understand Lean Thinking and Process Improvement is unparalleled. Patsy is a skilled facilitator who has performed workshops and training sessions to hundreds of colleagues in the past 20 years. She has an enthusiasm that keeps sessions flowing and audiences engaged. Patsy is a results-oriented quality improvement professional who is focused on increasing capacity and capability of organizations. She provides coaching and mentoring to individuals that is tailored to develop their capabilities regardless of their skill level.
